TOPEKA - Mary Raber, 97, of Topeka, died at 2:55 a.m. Monday, May 11, at Millers Merry Manor in LaGrange.

She was born May 22, 1917, in LaGrange County, to Benjamin and Anna (Lehman) Raber.

Surviving are a sister, Saloma Raber of Topeka; a brother, Joni (Fannie Mae) Raber of Middlebury; sister-in-law Lizzie Ann Raber of Baltic, Ohio; nine nieces; and 14 nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Abigail Bontrager and Mattie Raber; and four brothers, Andrew, Mose, Abe and infant John Raber.

She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church and was a seamstress for 72 years.

Visitation will be after 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, and all day Wednesday, May 13, at Henry Bontrager's home, 616 W. Lake St., Topeka. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, May 14, also at Henry Bontrager's. Services will be conducted by Bishop Ernest D. Bontrager and the home ministers. Burial will be in Hawpatch Cemetery in Topeka.

Redcay, Darlene Oberholtzer
, 82, of Landis Homes, formerly of Goodville died Friday, January 2, 2015 at Landis Homes.

She was born June 25, 1932 in Lancaster County to Nathan (died 1980) and Florence (died 2013) Oberholtzer, Manheim.

On March 15, 1953, she was married to Edwin Redcay. Edwin was killed in an auto accident in August 1994. They were married for 41 years.

Together they had four children, Bob married to Cindy Sell Redcay, Mount Joy, Brenda Strausser, Denver, Sharon, married to Phil Miller, Dayton, Ohio & Jerry, married to Tracey Boley Redcay, New Holland, seven grandchildren and two great grandsons. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Zachary James Strausser.

Also survived by siblings: Nathan Oberholtzer, Jr., Joyce Hoffer, Wilbur Oberholtzer, and Kenneth Oberholtzer.

Darlene was a member of the Goodville Mennonite Church since 1961 where she was active in teaching children's Sunday School Classes for several decades. She was also active in their sewing circle serving as Vice President and President over the years. Darlene was involved in the church's food bank for 13 years.

She cleaned the church for 20 years and Rutt's Kitchens display cabinets for over 20 years.

She worked for Ranck's Restaurant in Morgantown for five years as a dish washer and enjoyed meeting and talking with the customers.

Darlene volunteered at the ReUzit Shop in Morgantown by washing clothes that were donated to the store.

Darlene enjoyed making bags and filling them with goodies to give to family and friends.

She had a small sewing business making quilts, baby comforters, table tops, etc. for many years.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Goodville Mennonite Church with Pastor Bruce Sauder officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. Reed, Paul Elvin
, 74, of Dayton, passed away Sunday, Nov. 1, 2015, at his residence. Mr. Reed was born Aug. 17, 1941, in Morgantown, Pa., and was a son of the late George and Elizabeth (Newswanger) Reed.

He served as pastor of the Rawley Springs Mennonite Church for 36 years. He also worked as an editor for Christian Light Publications. Paul was a schoolteacher in Lancaster County, Pa., and also at Berea Christian School in Harrisonburg, Va. On June 29, 1968, he married the former Ethel Brubaker, who survives.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Reed is survived by his siblings, Harold Reed and wife, Barbara, of Lititz, Pa., Dorcas Danner of New Oxford, Pa., John Reed and wife, Carolyn, of Harrisonburg, Va., and Irene Zimmerman of Denver, Pa.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Paul was preceded in death by his stepmother, Anna (Weaver) Reed, and two sisters, Anna Mary Reed and Ruth Reed.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. at Peake Mennonite Church, 8613 War Branch Road, Harrisonburg, Va., with the Rawley Springs Ministry officiating. Burial will follow at Rawley Springs Mennonite Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2 until 4 p.m. and 6 until 8 p.m. at Peake Mennonite Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rawley Springs Mennonite Church, 4209 Peake Mountain Road, Fulks Run, VA 22830. Regehr, Gail Diane Schroeder
, 57, of Inman, McPherson Co., KS died November 13, 2015 at Hutchinson Hospice House, Hutchinson, Reno, KS from cancer. She was born September 5, 1958 at Inman, KS to Milo H. and Leatrice (Peters) Schroeder. On December 22, 1979 at Buhler Mennonite Brethern Church, Reno, KS she was married to Royce David Regehr, who survives.

Surviving are her husband, her parents, two children, Justin & Kelli Regehr and Troy Regehr; and siblings, Maxi Wiebe, Nancy Kopper, and Don Schroeder.

Memorial services were held November 17, 2015 at Bethel Mennonite Church, Inman, KS with burial in North Inman Cemetary, Inman, KS.

Reiff, Ammon E.
, 85, of Ephrata, formerly of Lititz, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Dec. 24, 2015, at his residence from congestive heart failure.

He was born in Leola to the late Eli and Anna (Eberly) Reiff and was the husband of the late Catherine (Martin) Reiff, who passed away in 1997. He was married to Nora W. (Zimmerman) Reiff with whom he shared 17 years of marriage.

Ammon was a member of the Millway Mennonite Church (Groffdale Conference). He was a self-employed dairy farmer and after retirement he worked at Good's Store in East Earl.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Eva, wife of Ammon Martin, of Mifflinburg, Ella, wife of James Reiff, of Ephrata, Lena, wife of Aaron Martin, of Penn Yan, N.Y.; four sons, Lloyd, husband of Marlene (Shirk) Reiff, of Lititz, Harvey, husband of Ella Mae (Sensenig) Reiff, of Mifflinburg, Ivan, husband of Sharon (Sensenig) Reiff, of Lititz, Ammon Jr., husband of Jennifer (Weaver) Reiff, of Leola; son-in-law, Harry, husband of Alta (Brubaker) Oberholtzer, of Millmont; 36 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; one brother, David, husband of Lydia (Burkholder) Reiff, of Ephrata; three sisters, Lena, wife of Adam Sauder, of Penn Yan, N.Y., Ella, wife of Harvey Zimmerman, of Ephrata, Anna, wife of Lawrence Ramer, of Goshen, Ind.; two sisters-in-law, Barbara (Martin) Zimmerman, of New Holland, and Laura (Zimmeran) Reiff, of Millmont.

In addition to his first wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Edna Oberholtzer and Anna Reiff, one son, Irvin Reiff; two grandchildren; one great-grandson; and two brothers, Aaron and Eli Reiff.

A viewing will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 28, at the Lloyd Reiff residence, 1439 E. Newport Road, Lititz. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday Dec. 29, at the Lawrence Reiff residence, 359 N. Hershey Ave., Leola, with further services at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Groffdale Old Order Mennonite Church with Bishop Ammon Weaver officiating.

Interment will take place in the adjoining church cemetery.

Reiff, Mary H. Nolt
, 71, of 783 Twin Hill Road, New Holland, died Saturday, May 9, 2015 at her home after a lengthy illness.

Born in Leola, she was the daughter of the late Joseph O. and Mary (Hoover) Nolt. She was married 49 years on Oct. 21 to Titus G. Reiff.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Martindale Mennonite Church, Groffdale Conference.

Surviving in addition to her husband are 7 children, Linda N., married to Leon Rissler of East Earl, Warren N., married to Kimberly (Boas) Reiff of Pequea, Pauline N., married to Amos Newswanger of Lewisburg, Ellen N., married to Arthur Hoover of Lititz, James N., married to Allison (Kapalka) Reiff of Lancaster, Alice N., married to Elvin Zimmerman of Lititz, and Allen N. Reiff of New Holland; 32 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; and 9 sisters and 3 brothers, Frances H., wife of the late Edwin Martin, Ervin H., married to Beverly (Root) Nolt, Esther H., married to Paul Shirk, Minnie H., married to John Snyder, Paul H., married to Anna (Garman) Nolt, Anna H., married to Jonas Zeiset, Edna H., married to Aaron Zimmerman, Ella H., married to Melvin Martin, Ada Mae H., married to Lawrence Martin, Martha H., married to Amos Martin, Arlene H., married to Aaron Sensenig, and Warren H., married to Florence (Zimmerman) Nolt.

Preceding her in death is a grandson, Jonathon R. Rissler, and a brother, Ivan H. Nolt.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 13 at 8:30 AM at the late home with further services at 9:30 AM at Conestoga Mennonite Church, Groffdale Conference, 313 N. Farmersville Road, Ephrata, with the Bishop Titus Martin officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. Viewing will be held at the late home on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Reschly, Marion C. "Tink"
, 93, of Crawfordsville, Iowa died November 15, 2015 at Wayland, Henry Co., Iowa. He was born July 25, 1922 at Henry County, Iowa to Harry and Fanny (Conrad) Reschly. On March 28, 1948 at Crawfordsville, Iowa he was married to Opal M. Burkholder, who survives.

Surviving are children, Rodney Reschly of Elkhart, Indiana; and Cynitha (Steve) Butcher of North Liberty, Iowa; nine grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services were held November 21 2015 at Sugar Creek Mennonite Church, Wayland, IA with burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Reschly, Rosemary L. Blough

Dec. 1, 1948 - June 10, 2015

ELKHART - Rosemary L. Reschly, 66, passed away Wednesday afternoon, June 10, in her home after battling cancer since 2006.

She was born in Goshen on Dec. 1, 1948, to Ralph and Mary (Bollinger) Blough.

On Nov. 10, 1973, she married Rodney Reschly.

He survives along with two sons, Samuel (Jeanna) Reschly of Goshen and Michael (Kathy) Reschly of Boulder, Colo.; four grandchildren, Brock and Alex Reschly, both of Goshen, and Jonah and Zoe Reschly, both of Boulder; and two brothers, Randall L. (Linda) Blough of Eaton, Ohio, and Reggie L. (Lonnie Haley) Blough of Cape Coral, Fla.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A lifetime area resident, Rosemary was a member of Sunnyside Mennonite Church in Elkhart and was a 1967 graduate of Goshen High School.

She worked as an executive assistant at Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary from 1988 until her retirement in 2011. She also worked at Oaklawn from 1969 to 1977.

Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, June 14, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Sunnyside Mennonite Church. Pastors Terry Zehr and Melissa Fisher Fast will officiate. Cremation will follow the service at Yoder-Culp Crematory.

Ressler, Glenn D.
, age 80, of Orrville, OH died January 15, 2015, at his residence. He was born on October 25, 1934, in Dalton, Ohio, to John and Ella (Eberly) Ressler. He was united in marriage to Clara Zimmerman in May of 1956. She survives. He was a member of Chestnut Ridge Mennonite Church, he had been active in Gideons International, a volunteer for the Mennonite Disaster Service, and had made many short term mission trips including several trips to Ecuador.

In addition to his wife, Clara, he is survived by a daughter, Marita (David) Regier of Orrville; sons, Ken (Sandy) Ressler, and Bob Ressler, of Orrville, Don (Danita) Ressler of Apple Creek, and Ron (Josephine) Ressler of North Lawrence; 19 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Ruth (George) Stoltzfus of Utah; and brothers, Willard (Letha) Ressler of California, and Raymond (Naomi) Ressler of Virginia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant grandson, Daniel Regier, and a sister, Esther Houdeshell.

Funeral Service was January 20, 2015, at Chestnut Ridge Mennonite Church, Orrville, OH with Pastor Marvin Zuercher officiating. Burial will take place at Martins Mennonite Church Cemetery.

Ressler, Kathryn L.
, 92, formerly of Lititz, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, December 22, 2015.

She was born in Ephrata and was married to the late John E. Ressler.

She was a lifelong member of Mohler Church of the Brethren and, as a deacon's wife, contributed to many ministries of the church. She was an avid photographer, loved planting flowers, and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Kathryn is survived by four children, Linda S. Miller, married to Daniel E. Miller, Jr., Lancaster; Leon J. Ressler, married Lou Ann (Charles) Ressler, Peach Bottom; Kathy A. Hurst, married to Curvin M. Hurst, Lancaster; and Loren R. Ressler, married to Fannie K. (Zimmerman) Ressler, Lititz. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her oldest daughter, Lois J. Martin married to Galen W. Martin, Ephrata, and an infant son and infant daughter. Her sister, Ruth L. Mull, also preceded her in death.

Services will be held at Mohler Church of the Brethren on Sunday, December 27, 2015. Viewing at 1:30 p.m. Funeral at 2:30 p.m. Pastor Carl L. Brubaker presiding. Burial immediately following at Mohler's Church Cemetery.

Ressler, Melvin James
, 86, entered into rest at the United Zion Retirement Community, Lititz on Thursday August 27, 2015. He was born December 23, 1928 in Ephrata Township to the late Grube & Anna Martin (Zimmerman) Ressler. Melvin shared 64 years of married life with his devoted wife, Lettie (Hostetter) Ressler.

Melvin served faithfully in the Oregon Community United Methodist Church as a faithful trustee. He proudly served in the U.S. Army in the Ordnance Corps during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of AmVets, the NRA and the American Legion Post# 429. Melvin enjoyed deer hunting and collecting toy tractors & cars.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Lettie, are 2 brothers: Elvin Ressler, husband of Jeanne, and Harold Ressler, husband of Helen; and many nieces & nephews.

Melvin was preceded in death by 5 siblings: Elmer, John, Martin, Clarence and Anna Mae Ressler.

Rheinheimer, Dennis E.

Sept. 17, 1950 - Dec. 16, 2015

GOSHEN - Dennis E. Rheinheimer, 65, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 16, at Elkhart Hospice House.

He had been ill since Nov. 19.

He was born Sept. 17, 1950, in Goshen, to Floyd A. and Katie M. (Miller) Rheinheimer.

On March 23, 1974, he married Teresa "Terry" Broach.

She survives along with two daughters, Cristina (Michael) Klotz and Laura (Pedro de Leon) Rheinheimer; two grandchildren, Noah and Liliana Klotz; two sisters, Shirley (Dale) Riegsecker and Linda Young, both of Middlebury; and two brothers, Floyd (Cindy) Rheinheimer and Ron (Kristan) Rheinheimer, both of Goshen.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Victoria.

A lifelong area resident, Mr. Rheinheimer taught third grade at Harrison Primary Center, South Bend, before retiring in 2009.

He was a member of First Mennonite Church, Middlebury, where he served as a Stephen minister and taught Sunday school. He volunteered at Menno-Hof and served on the board at Amigo Centre in Sturgis, Mich.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home and again from 11:30 to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, at First Mennonite Church, Middlebury.

A funeral service will begin at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, at the church with Pastor Kent Miller officiating.

Burial of cremated remains will be at a later date in Gracelawn Cemetery, Middlebury.

Memorial contributions may be made to Riley Children's Hospital or Boys and Girls Club of Middlebury.

Rhodes, A. Miriam Good

DALTON - A. Miriam Rhodes, 84, of Dalton, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2015, at her home in the presence of her family.

She was born near Orrville on April 27, 1931 to the late Benjamin and Martha (Hoover) Good and was united in marriage on June 27, 1953 to Luke C. Rhodes.

She is survived by her husband of nearly 62 years; and was a faithful mother of three sons and six daughters, Kathleen (Norman) Schrock of Patriot, Phyllis (Harold) Weaver of Deloraine, Tasmania, Australia, Carol (Jerry) Neuenschwander of Dalton, Kenneth (Martha) of Fairchild, WI, Mary Beth (Elvin) Neuenschwander of Dalton Luke Jr. (Arlene) of Newberry, IN, Juanita (Brian) Bear of Hopwell, Rachel (Marcus) Bear of Mazeppa, MN and James (Anita) of Carpenter, WY; 66 grandchildren; 57 great grandchildren; two sisters, Emma Ruth Weaver of Columbiana and Mary Catherine Witmer of Sparta, TN.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two grandsons; three great grandchildren; brothers, Willis, Willard, Jason, Heber and Elmer Good; sisters, Myrtle Hoover and Bertha Good.

She accepted Christ in her youth and was a faithful member of the Woodlawn Mennonite Church in Greenwich.

The Rhodes family raised farm produce and attended markets for many years. Mom enjoyed meeting people and had many friends through these contacts.

Friends may call on Tuesday from 1-4 and 6-8 PM at the County Line Mennonite Church, 19199 Church Road, Dalton. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 AM at the County Line Mennonite Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton is assisting the family with arrangements.

Rhodes, Anna Lee Showalter
, 90, of Broadway, Va., died Sept. 27, 2015, at Oak Lea Nursing Home at VMRC. She was born Dec. 18, 1924, in Harrisonburg to the late Isaac Menno and Cornelia M. Wenger Showalter. Anna graduated from Dayton High School and RMH Nursing School. She was a poultry farmer and a member of Trissels Mennonite Church in Broadway. On July 2, 1949, she married Robert Neff Rhodes Jr., who preceded her in death May 10, 1978. She is survived by one son, Robert "Robbie" Rhodes III and wife,
Debbie, of Broadway; one daughter, Susan Rhodes of Broadway; grandchildren, Lauren, Chad and Joshua; and two sisters, Ruby Grove of Hagerstown, Md., and Janet Miller and husband, John, of Sarasota, Fla.

Her son, Edward Lee Rhodes, and brothers, Charles and James Showalter, preceded her in death.

Pastor Harold Miller will conduct a graveside service 2 p.m. Wednesday at Trissels Mennonite Church Cemetery followed by a memorial service at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Friends may call anytime at Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway.

Rice, Gladys Greaser
, 78, of Sellersville, PA; formerly of Telford, PA died January 15, 2015 at her residence. Gladys was born July 27, 1936 in Sellersville, PA to the late Leroy & Alma (Alderfer) Greaser. She was the loving wife of the late Robert E. Rice for 57 years. She was a lifetime member of Souderton Mennonite Church.

Gladys is survived by three daughters, Lucinda Denise Zeigler & husband, Daniel of Telford, PA, Lisa K. WOOSTER, Ohio - Eva M. Richard, 92, of Wooster, died Wednesday, Oct. 28.

She married Elam R. Richard on Sept. 5, 1943. He passed away April 5, 1993.

She spent her married life with Elam as a farm housewife raising four children.

She is survived by her children, Suzanne (Pete) Short of Goshen, Ind., James M. (Marcy) Richard of Wooster, Sally (Kent) Schreck of Goshen and Dale Richard of San Francisco; grandchildren Douglas (Lynn) Short, Jonathon (Angie) Short, Michael (Molly) Richard, Bradley (Cara) Richard, Anne (Ryan) Brown, Rebecca Schreck and Katherine (David) Teall; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Feb. 20, 1925 - March 19, 2015

GOSHEN - Irene I. Riegsecker, 90, passed away March 19 at her home.

She was born to William and Anna (Schwartzentruber) Neuhauser on Feb. 20, 1925, in Pigeon, Mich.

On Aug. 23, 1969, she married Levi Riegsecker in Flint, Mich. He died Aug. 24, 1971.

She is survived by her sister, Vera Kindy, of Midland, Mich.; eight nieces and nephews, Carol (Tom) Veatch of Wichita, Kan., Rose (Ken) Vasquez of Chino, Calif., Melody Carlock of Fort Wayne, James (Shelly) Kindy, Jerry (Dawn) Kindy and Kevin (Kathy Jo) Kindy, all of Midland, Joseph (Patricia M.) Baer of Alden, N.Y., and David (Patricia A.) Baer of Goshen; 26 great-nieces and great-nephews; and 13 great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

She is also survived by four step-children, Joyce (Vernon) Craven-Themm of Middlebury, Keith Riegsecker of Goshen, Verl (Pat) Riegsecker of Indianapolis and Dennis (Jean) Riegsecker of Lincoln, Neb.; 14 step-grandchildren; and five step-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Levi; a brother, John Neuhauser; a sister, Catherine Baer; and nieces Joyce Miller and Twila Baer. Stepsons Marvin and Orval Riegsecker and step-granddaughter Janelle Craven also preceded her in death.

Irene was a member of College Mennonite Church. She was a licensed practical nurse and worked in Flint, Mich., for many years. She was a lifelong member of Mennonite churches in Flint, Sarasota, Fla., and Goshen. She was a special aunt to her nieces and nephews and played an active role throughout their lives. She loved meeting new people and enjoyed traveling. She opened her home to many, including 1-W workers in Flint. Until her death, she was active and had many weekly times that she gathered with friends to play various games and socialize. She will be missed by many.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 27, in the Koinonia Room of College Mennonite Church, Goshen, where a memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 28, with visitation one hour prior to the service.

According to Irene's wishes, cremation has taken place.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Bible Memory Ministries or Christian Aid Ministries.

Riegsecker, Irene I. Neuhauser, 90, of Goshen, Elkhart Co., IN died March 19, 2015 at the same place. , 87, of Archbold, Fulton Co., OH died November 17, 2015 at the same place. She was born December 9, 1927 at Wauseon, Fulton Co., OH to Henry and Amanda (Short) Miller. On August 13, 1950 at Archbold she was married to Orval Riegsecker, who was born April 29, 1927 and survives.

Surviving are children, Ardis (Holmes) Stephenson, Delvin (Lora) Riegsecker, Joetta (Rick) Pugh, Doneta (Bert Magana) Riegsecker, Vonda (Dave) Smith, Curtice, Angie (Jeff) Wyse, Amy (Al) Frey, and Karla (Brett) Hatley, 15 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and siblings, Arleta Unzicker, Marilyn (Bob) Newsome, Phyllis (Clark) Gerber, and a sister-in-law, Donna Miller.

His siblings, Alta (Harley) Sauder, Bessie (Cornelius) Short, Vesta (Harold) Stamm, Bernice (Charles) McDowell, Alice Miller, Almeda Miller, and Delmar Miller, as well as a brother-in-law, Carl Unzicker preceded her in death.

In her youth she was baptized and was an active member of Central Mennonite Church, Archbold. She was a devoted mother and wife and retired from LaChoy Foods in 1990 after many years of service. Lois loved God and she loved her family. Spending time with them was a priority. She enjoyed gatherings with immediate family as well as time spent with the extended Miller and Riegsecker family members. She also enjoyed crocheting, reading, playing games and having coffee with friends.

Memorial services were held November 21, 2015 at Central Mennonite church, Archbold, OH with burial in Pettisville Cemetery, Pettisville, Fulton Co., OH.

, 73, of Ridgeville Corners, OH died October 13, 2015 at Maumee, OH. He was born October 20, 1941 at Fayette, Fulton Co., OH to Theophilus and Dorothy (Mack) Riegsecker. On August 24, 1962 at Wauseon, Fulton Co., OH he was married to Loraine Fay Friesen, who survives.

Surviving are children, Linda (Gamaliel) Gabino, Shawn Riegsecker, Greg (Melissa) Riegsecker, and Justin (Krista) Riegsecker; five grandchildren, and siblings, Sharon Hayward, Lynn Ely, and William Riegsecker.

, 100, of Freeman, Hutchinson Co., SD died September 18, 2015 at the same place.

She was born May 19, 1915 at Freeman to Jonathan J. J. and Ida (Graber) Preheim. Jonathan was born January 30, 1888 and died April 19, 1977. Ida was born November 16, 1906 and died February 12, 1963.

On February 8, 1945 at Gulfport, Harrison Co., MS she was married to Edward J. Ries, who was born January 20, 1910 and died November 25, 1970.

Surviving are a daughter, Pauline (Lynell) Hofer; two grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

A son Keith, sister, Louise (Edwin) Graber, and brothers Leonard (Gladys) and Clarence (June) Preheim preceded her in death.

Rissler, Mahlon Nolt
, 79, of Dayton, passed away Monday, Oct. 5, 2015, at his residence. Mr. Rissler was born June 24, 1936, in East Earl Township, Pa., and was a son of the late Daniel Shelley and Elizabeth (Nolt) Rissler.

In the past as a member of Park View Mennonite Church, he taught Sunday school and he had been a longtime member of Harrisonburg Mennonite Church, where he had been a team leader. Mahlon graduated from Lancaster Business School and from Franklin and Marshall College. He worked for the Lancaster Provident Bookstore as a controller. He later graduated from the Electronic and Computer Programming Institute in Harrisburg, Pa. Mahlon worked for EMC, now EMU, starting their computer program and running it for 10 years. He then owned and operated Dutch Foods. Most recently, he operated a home delivery service with his wife and son.

On June 6, 1959, he married the former Gloria Grace Weaver, who survives. In addition to his wife, Mahlon is survived by a son, Jay Clair Rissler; two daughters, Ruth Ann Rissler Altemus and husband, Jay, and Debra Joy Rissler Layman and husband, Kenny; siblings, Menno Rissler, Elsie Bowman, Vera Rissler, Emma Rissler, Edith Rissler Weaver, Mae Zook, and Isaac Rissler; grandchildren, Nathan and Ben Altemus, Matthew and Jonathan Layman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Aaron Rissler, John Dan Rissler, Raymond Rissler, Lydia Kasbaum, Melvin Rissler and Miriam Rissler.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, Oct. 11, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Harrisonburg Mennonite Church with Pastor Mark Keller officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 1 until 2 p.m. prior to the service. CROMWELL - Waneta Dawn (Zimmerman) Rodes, 46, of Cromwell, died Wednesday, Nov. 18, in a tragic car accident in Goshen.

She was born May 6, 1969, in Elkhart County, to Arthur and Lois Zimmerman.

She was married to Titus Rodes. Together they were the parents of three sons, Austin Rodes of Milford, Houston Rodes of Goshen and Jackson Rodes of Cromwell; and three daughters, Eleaya Rodes of Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii, Eleacia (Chet) Los of Syracuse and Emily Rodes of Denver, Colo. They survive, along with a grandson, Chester Los; her parents, Arthur and Lois Zimmerman of Nappanee; three brothers; two sisters; and maternal grandparents.

Family and friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23, at Ramer Mennonite Youth Center. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24, at Fairview Mennonite Church (C.R. 13 and C.R. 50).

Roes, Raymond David
, 82, of Beaver Falls, NY died December 10, 2015 at Lowville, Lewis Co., NY. He was born November 11, 1933 at Alden, NY to Samuel S. and Lena (Nafziger) Roes. On August 11, 2012 at Lowville, NY he was married to Wilma Watkins, who survives.

Also surviving are his siblings: Edna Yousey, Nelson and Mary, Irene and Alvin Zehr, Alice and Alvin Roggie, Vernon and Doreen, Leonard and Judy, Nancy and Marvin Widrick and Melvin and Judy; his in-laws: Catherine Barnes, Carolyn Elford and Albert Owens; and special friends Gerald and Anne Stinebrickner.

He was married to Anna Mae Widrick on October 18, 1958 at the the Woodville Mennonite Church with Rev. Andrew Gingerich officiating. The couple owned and operated a dairy farm in Constableville until 1988.

Surviving are children, Kevin and Carol, Sandra Oblick, Merle and Sheryl, Sharon and Delvin Lehman and Donald and Brandi; a stepson Richard and Renee Watkins, 19 grandchildren, 18great-grandchildren.

A sister, Anna Mae Noftsier and brothers, Maurice, Edward and Lloyd Roes preceded him in death.

Raymond enjoyed woodworking, his flower gardens and his family. Mr. Roes was a member of the Lowville Mennonite Church where he was a member of the kitchen committee, helping with funeral meals or where needed within the Mennonite community.

, 93, Harrisonburg, VA died March 20, 2015 at Sentara RMH Medical Center. Mrs. Rohrer was born on November 6, 1921 in Denbigh, Virginia to Moses Levi and Anna Belle Wenger Hertzler. On May 20, 1943, she married Gilbert Rohrer who preceded her in death on November 26, 2013. After moving to Harrisonburg in 1997 she became a member of Harrisonburg Mennonite Church. A former member of Warwick River Mennonite church.

Surviving are three children, Janis Marleen Kerstetter and husband John of Sarasota, Florida; Murray Jay Rohrer and wife Patricia of Glen Allen; Dennis Gilbert Rohrer and wife Wendy of Harrisonburg; a brother, Allen Hertzler of Harrisonburg, six grandchildren; Kara Martin and husband Michael, Singers Glen; Jonathan Kerstetter, Florida; Allison Kokkoros and husband Markus, Washington, DC; Matthew Rohrer, Richmond; Todd Rohrer and wife Abbie, Christiansburg; Jesse Rohrer and wife Megan of Williamsburg; five great grandchildren; Vivianna Kokkoros, Edward Rohrer, Jack, Grant, and Elsa Martin.

She was preceded in death by her husband Gilbert, two sisters, Mary Grove, Velma Garnard; two brothers, Charles Hertzler and Vernon Hertzler and a grandson, Gregory Rohrer.

Rohrer, Glenn Edwin
, 90, a resident of Hinton, passed away Feb. 17, 2015, at his home. Mr. Rohrer was born Dec. 19, 1924, in Rockingham County and was a son of the late John Sanford and Zelda N. (Heatwole) Rohrer Sr.

He was a self-employed carpenter and dairy and poultry farmer. In his later years, he also served as a taxi driver for the community. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of Bank Mennonite Church, where he served as a janitor for over 30 years. He served in the Civilian Public Service (CPS) for 19 months in Powellsville, Md.

On June 22, 1946, he married Annis Marie Showalter, who survives. Also surviving in addition to his wife, are a son, Jay Rohrer and wife, Sallie, of Dayton; foster daughter, Anita Louise Howell Rohrer of Harrisonburg; two brothers, Wilbur M. Rohrer and Israel H. Rohrer; a sister, Orpha M. Wenger; seven grandchildren, Stephanie N. (Rohrer) Dellinger and husband, Calvin, Cheryl E. (Rohrer) Yoder and husband, Michael, Conrad J. Rohrer and wife, Lori (Heatwole), Coleen R. (Rohrer) Yoder and husband, Galen, Allen M. Rohrer, Sharon R. Rohrer and Richard A. Rohrer; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Rohrer was preceded in death by his siblings, John S. Rohrer Jr. and Martha Knicely.

John Hartzler, Nathan Horst, Philip Wenger, David Burkholder and Linden Rhodes will conduct a funeral service Friday, Feb. 20, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. at Bank Mennonite Church. , 97, formerly of Strasburg, PA died February 11, 2015 at Landis Homes, Lititz, PA. Born September 19, 1917, to B. Frank and Mary C. (Herr) Rohrer. He was the husband of the late Ada G. Rohrer, who died on March 4, 2002. They were married for 62 years. He was a member of Strasburg Mennonite Church. He also enjoyed driving for Meals on Wheels.

He is survived by four daughters; Janice M., wife of Harlan H. Hoover of Gordonville, A. Corinne Dixon, of Tacoma, WA, Ruth Anne, wife of Thomas L. Martin of Strasburg, and Linda C., wife of Reverend Terry L. Blessing, of Lancaster, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and a brother, Edwin, married to Marion (Ranck) Rohrer of Paradise.

, 83, of Dayton, passed away Dec. 2, 2015, at Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg. She was born March 29, 1932, in Dayton, Va., to the late Webster Clay and Sarah Mabel (Showalter) Rhodes. She was a member of Rawley Springs Mennonite Church. On Oct. 5, 1955, she married Wilbur M. Rohrer of Dayton, who survives.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are six children, Wendell (Laura) Rohrer of Bartow, W.Va., Fern (Glenn) Heatwole of McDowell, Va., James of Charlottesville, Wilma of Stuarts Draft, Doris (Lowell) Lee of Ligonier, Ind., and Joanna of Dayton; 17 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by six brothers, Mark, Harry, Frank, Eber, Daniel and Neil, and one sister, Edith (Owen) Showalter.

Surviving are three brothers, Reuben (Margaret) Rhodes of Harrisonburg, Luke Rhodes of Dalton, Ohio, and John (Louise) Rhodes of Dayton, and two sisters, Esther Rohrer and Norma Koogler, both of Dayton.

Ivan Nolt, John Hartzler, Robert Mallow and Keith Crider will conduct a funeral service Sunday, Dec. 6, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Bank Mennonite Church, 2493 Bank Church Road, Dayton, Va. , 92, of Souderton died January 15, 2015. She was born October 17, 1922 to Elmer H. and Elizabeth (Gehman) High. On February 17, 1945 she was married to Abram G. Rosenberger, who is deceased.

Surviving are a daughter, Kathy Moyer and her husband Steven, and a daughter in law, Helen Rosenberger; three grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

A son, Donald H. Rosenberger preceded her in death.

Burial was in Blooming Glen Mennonite Cemetery, Blooming Glen, PA.

Roth, Grace Laverne Troyer

(October 24, 1925 - July 26, 2015)

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at Bellwood Mennonite Church. Visitation will be on Tuesday, from 1-5pm at Lauber-Moore Funeral Home in Milford, with the family greeting relatives and friends from 6-8 pm at Bellwood Mennonite Church. Interment will be in the Milford Mennonite Cemetery. Memorials have been established to Horisun Hospice or to Feed The Hungry Children Organization.

Grace Laverne Roth was born October 24, 1925 on a farm west of Milford, Nebraska to John and Elsie (Eicher) Troyer, the 3rd of 9 children and died peacefully in her sleep - surrounded in love from her family on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at the Ridgewood Rehab and Care Center in Seward at the age of 89 years, 9 months and 2 days. As a young girl, Grace attended Pilot Knob Country School through the 8th grade, accepted Christ as her personal Savior and was baptized at West Fairview Mennonite Church where her father was the minister. For several years, Grace helped her parents and neighbors, as a "Mother's Helper" by assisting them with their newborns and siblings. On September 16, 1945, Grace was united in marriage to Robert R. Roth and to this union five children were born: Diane, Charlotte, Terry, Lonnie and Robert Jr.

Together they lived in Wood River for two years before moving to a farm west of Milford and later to a farm near Beaver Crossing. Grace raised her family and helped Robert on the farm. She was an avid quilter and enjoyed raising flowers and gardening. In her spare time, she liked to play dominos and listen to blue grass music. Grace made many quilts and blankets for her family and also enjoyed doing the finish quilting for friends who brought their projects to her. She spent many hours working at the Et-Cetera shop in Seward. Family was very important to Grace and she loved spending time with them at all family gatherings, getting and giving hugs. She also prayed for family members and enjoyed bringing them to her Lord and Savior.

Grace was a member of Bellwood Mennonite Church, serving her church in many ways including being a Sunday School teacher, working with the sewing circle and in any other capacity needed. She had a wonderful smile and the gift of friendship was given to all.

Roth, Grace L. Troyer, 89, of Milford, Seward Co., NE died in her sleep July 26, 2015 at Seward, Seward Co., NE. She was born October 24, 1925 to John and Elsie (Eicher) Troyer. On September 16, l945 she was married to Robert Roth, who is deceased.

Surviving are children, Diane Stutzman, Charlotte Roth, Terry Roth, Lonnie Roth and Robert Jr. Roth; 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Lauren Troyer and Lela Benson.

Five siblings, Cloy, Milton, Royden, Stanley & Kenny Troyer preceded her in death.

Memorial services were held July 29, 2015 at Bellwood Mennonite Church, Milford, NE with burial in Milford Mennonite Cemetery, Milford, NE.

, 77, of Archbold, Fulton Co., OH died September 13, 2015 at the same place. He was born November 8, 1937 at Archbold to Truman and Luetta (Gausche) Roth and was married to Karen Roth, who survives.

Surviving are children, Kent Roth, Kim (Greg) Walker; Brian (Lynne) Roth; Brad (Aimee) Roth; seven grandchildren, and siblings, James (Barbara) Roth; Mabel Ann (Verlan) Klinger; and Marlene (Gene) Graf.

Memorial services were held September 17, 2015 at Lockport Mennonite Church, Stryker, Williams Co., OH.

Roth, Wayne H.
, 80, of Longmont, CO died November 28, 2015 at the same place. He was born January 29, 1935 at Amenia, ND to Benjamin and Ethel Roth. On June 17 1961 he was married to Miriam Shetler, who survives.

Surviving are children, Susan Falk (Thomas), Anne Keener (Steve), and Kathleen Roth; five grandchildren, three brothers, Richard Roth, Derald Roth, and Kenneth Roth, and two sisters, Mary Meyer, and Janet Jourdan.

A brother, Leonard Roth preceded him in death.

Memorial services were held December 12, 2015 at First Mennonite Church, Denver, CO with burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Roth, Wilma Stutzman

Nov. 12, 1915 - Oct. 25, 2015

GOSHEN - Wilma (Stutzman) Roth, 99, passed away Sunday morning, Oct. 25, at her daughter's home.

She was born Nov. 12, 1915, in Milford, Neb., to John I. and Mary (Birky) Stutzman.

On Nov. 25, 1936, she married Orie Roth of Wayland, Iowa. He died Sept. 25, 1999.

Mrs. Roth is survived by four children, Dennis (Mary) Roth of Fort Wayne, Sheril (Kenneth) Mullett of Goshen, Rebecca (Ray) Imhoff of Fort Wayne and Rosemary (Mahlon) Yoder of Linn Creek, Mo.; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; four great-stepgrandchildren; and two great-great-stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, seven sisters and a brother.

Wilma lived in Wayland all of her married life, where she and Orie farmed and raised their family. She enjoyed being a farmer's wife and raising their family. Along with her family, Wilma loved to tend her vegetable and flower gardens in the summer, and in the winter months she enjoyed reading and creating many quilts for her family. She donated a number of them at several relief sales.

She accepted Christ at 12, and that decision led her into involvement with many church activities in her lifetime, including teaching Sunday school and Bible school. She was involved with, and served as president of, the Women's Missionary and Service Commission and many other volunteer opportunities.

Wilma's quiet and loving spirit was an inspiration to her children, her grandchildren and to the many people she crossed paths with.

"And her children have risen and called her blessed." Proverbs 31:28

A funeral service will start at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, at East Goshen Mennonite Church. Pastor Merle Hostetler and niece Carol Swartzendruber will officiate. Burial will be in Sugar Creek Cemetery in Wayland.

Memorials may be given to East Goshen Mennonite Church for the Bread of Life Food Pantry.

Rush, J. Herbert
, 85, of Doylestown, PA died January 6, 2015 at his residence. Herbert was born in Plumsteadville, PA to Raymond & Sallie (Leatherman) Rush. He was the loving husband of the late Ruth (Gross) Rush for 42 years. Herbert was a former member of Deep Run Mennonite Church East and currently Doylestown Mennonite Church where he served as an usher and trustee.

Herbert is survived by a daughter, Wendy Rush Spinosa of Allentown, PA; two sons, Steven R. & James T. Rush, both of Doylestown, PA; three grandsons, Costantino, Domenic, G. Mason Spinosa, all of Allentown, PA; a granddaughter, Alexandra Columbo of Allentown, PA; three brothers, Willard Rush & wife, Sonja of Mechanicsville, PA, Darwin Rush & wife, Janice of Mansfield, PA, Harold Rush of Queen Valley, AZ and a sister, Ruth Ann Moyer & husband, Robert of Sellersville, PA.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Mildred Bower, Olive Rush and Jean Worth and two brothers, Jacob & Robert Rush.

, 49, of Doylestown, PA died April 30, 2015 at his residence. He was born June 02, 1965 in Doylestown, PA to the late J. Herbert Rush and the late Ruth (Gross) Rush. Jim was a member of Doylestown Mennonite Church.

He is survived by a sister, Wendy Rush Spinosa of Allentown, PA; a brother, Steven R. Rush of Doylestown, PA; three nephews and a niece.

, 96, of Souderton, PA; formerly of Quakertown, PA died January 14, 2015 at Souderton Mennonite Homes. She was born March 24, 1918 in Souderton, PA to the late Allen & Katie (Freed) Alderfer. She was the loving wife of the late Paul D. Rush for 55 years. She was a member at Salem Mennonite Church in Shelly, PA. Served as a Sunday School and Vacation Bible School teacher and was part of the ladies sewing circle.

She is survived by four step-sons, James Rush & wife, Geraldine of Harrisonburg, VA, John Rush & wife, Esther of Reading, PA, Paul Rush & wife, Alice of Quakertown, PA, Marcus Rush & wife, Debra of Quakertown, PA; a son, Philip J. Rush & wife, Deborah of Quakertown, PA; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and a sister, Irene F. Alderfer of Souderton, PA.

In addition to her parents and husband, Ruth was preceded in death by five sisters, Alice F. Landis, Eva F. Geissinger, Mary Ann Swartley, Orpha F. Kolb, Margaret F. Alderfer and two brothers, Frank F. & Titus F. Alderfer.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 10:00 am at Souderton Mennonite Homes, Souderton, PA. Burial will take place at Deep Run Mennonite Cemetery East.

GOSHEN - Marjorie W. Ruth, 85, passed away Wednesday morning, Aug. 12, at Greencroft Healthcare.

She was born Aug. 31, 1929, in Beatrice, Neb., to Leo H. and Anna M. (Wiens) Wienss.

On Nov. 20, 1953, she married Paul L. Ruth in Beatrice. He died Dec. 2, 2011.

Survivors include two daughters, Janet (David Krueper) Ruth of Corrales, N.M., and Rita Rupp of Goshen, Ind.; two sons, Douglas Ruth of Sunnyvale, Calif., and Michael (Laura) Ruth of Longmont, Colo.; eight grandchildren; and a sister, Carol Epp of Minneapolis.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a sister, Norma Friesen.

Mrs. Ruth moved to Goshen in October 2004 from Akron, Pa., where she was a member of the Akron Mennonite Church. She retired as an administrative assistant from Mennonite Central Committee. She was currently a member of College Mennonite Church. She enjoyed quilting, needlework, music and birds.

Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, in the Gathering Room at College Mennonite Church in Goshen. A 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 16, memorial service will be conducted at College Mennonite Church. According to Marjorie's wishes, her body will be cremated. Cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory. Her cremated remains will be scattered at College Mennonite Church Memorial Garden.

Memorial contributions may be made to Greencroft Foundation or Mennonite Central Committee.

Ruth, Marjorie Wienss, 85, of Goshen, Elkhart Co., IN died August 12, 2015 at the same place. She was born August 31, 1829 at Beatrice, NE to Leo H. and Anna M. (Wiens) Wienss. On November 20, 1953 at Beatrice, NE she was married to Paul Landis Ruth, who was born April 19, 1920 and died December 2, 2011.

Surviving are children, Janet Ruth (Dave Krueper); Rita Rupp; Doug Ruth; and Michael (Laura) Ruth; 8 grandchildren, and a sister, Carol Epp.

A sister, Norma Friesen preceded her in death.

, 75, of Wauseon, OH died November 19, 2015. She was born December 1, 1939 at Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio to Orval and Cora (Short) Kauffman. On December 1, 1957 she was married to Larry Rychener, who survives.

Surviving are children, Jeffrey Rychener, Kimberly (Walter) Turczyn, Jon (Meredith) Rychener, and Jason (Michelle) Rychener; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and siblings, Glenn (Mabel Ann) Kauffman; Donald (Janet) Kauffman; and Mary (Ron) Short.
